Bittersweet Victory for Scott Amos in the Intermediate Derby Open in Vegas

The first finals of the 2018 Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association’s PCCHA Holy Cow Performance Horses Futurity were held at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon and were dominated by Colorado cowboy Scott Amos.

Scott qualified two horses for the Trainers Gold – Open Intermediate Cutting Stakes Finals and set the pace early working out of the second hole draw and posting a 219 aboard Hershay Kiss (Metallic Cat x Short A Shay) owned by Gale Force Quarter Horses. This combination would ultimately end up the Reserve Champions and collect the $3,900 pay check.
